SONIQS ENTER DOTA 2, ACQUIRE QUINCY CREW ROSTER

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Soniqs have officially entered its sixth esport after acquiring a DotA 2 roster formally known as Quincy Crew. The team consists of five players, Yawar “YawaR” Syed, Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, Rodrigo “LESLÃO” Santos, Arif “MSS” Anwar, Team Captain Adrian “Fata” Trinks, and Team Manager Jack “KBBQ” Chen.

This roster has already proven themselves to be one of the best in North America, with 10 championship titles since 2020. During The International 2021, an annually held DotA 2 world championship, the team managed to secure over $800,000 in prize money with a top-10 finish. The roster is known around the world as one of the best in North America with growing success at the international level.

Adrian “Fata” Trinks, the Team Captain of the roster, is the newest member to the team. With his impressive background in DotA 2, Fata is known as an accomplished veteran with over 10 years of experience in the esport. Since his career began, Trinks has managed to compete in seven TI events with several top-10 finishes and a top-5 placement in 2018.

“We’re always looking for new ways to expand the organization,” said Darren ‘Tribizzle’ Moore, CEO of Soniqs. “Picking up Quincy Crew made perfect sense for us. We’re adding another championship-caliber team to our organization and we’re excited to prove ourselves in a new esport.”

This roster will take full advantage of Soniqs sponsors and partners, Intel and ViewSonic. High caliber players need the tools to match. With Intel’s top-of-the-line CPUs offering unmatched speeds, and ViewSonics reliable, high-quality esports displays; Soniqs are confident that their players will have the competitive advantage they need to play at the highest echelon of the DotA 2 scene.

DotA fans will get an introduction to Soniqs when the team competes in the upcoming PGL Arlington Major this week. This tournament puts the best teams across the world against each other, playing for $500,000 in prizing and vital TI qualification points. Following the results at Arlington, Soniqs will either qualify for TI 2022 or move on to the TI Last Chance Qualifiers. Being the biggest world championship in all of esports, Soniqs is focused on nothing but qualifying.
