SONIQS RECAP 10/12/2021

A lot of exciting things are in the works here at the Soniqs and once again we are back to bring you up to date with the latest Soniqs related news! Let’s see what the teams have been up to this week.

Rainbow Six Siege

The most recent showing for the Soniqs R6 team was in the NAL - 2021 Stage 3, where they faced up against TSM in a best-of-one matchup. It was a hard fought battle, but this time TSM came out ahead and Soniqs took the loss 7-4.

But the season isn’t over yet, there will be more from Soniqs Rainbow Six on Wednesday, October 13th as they face off against Mirage in another best of one match in NAL - 2021 Stage 3! Don’t miss out!

PUBG

Nothing on the PUBG front this week. Last we saw from the PUBG team was a killer performance in PCS4, where they placed 2nd place.

But be sure to not miss them live for the PUBG Global Championship which starts on Friday, November 19th!

VALORANT

The VALORANT team had a difficult outing in the Knights Arena’s Dance of Skulls Gauntlet. The Soniqs played up against SoaR in round one of the tournament after leaving the group stage as the No. 1 seed for their group. On the first map of the day Soniqs picked up a decent 6 wins on attacker side. Unfortunately, on the swap to defenders, the team faltered and couldn’t pick up any more wins. Soniqs lost the first map to SoaR at a 6-13 score.

Map two was a good bit closer! This time the Soniqs started off on the defender side and grabbed 2 wins and swapped to the attacker's side. On offense they picked up another 7 wins, but were just too far behind to bring it the rest of the way. SoaR continued to the next round and Soniqs were knocked out in round 1 of the tournament.

That’s all for VALORANT this week!

Rocket League

The Soniqs Rocket League team had an excellent week! In the RLCS: Fall Regional Qualifiers, Soniqs came out with several dominating victories against teams Vibrance, Kansas City Pioneers and Oxygen Esports; while not quite bringing home the win against G2 Esports, Version1, Shopify Rebellion and True Neutral.

In the final placement determining round of the qualifier tournament, Soniqs found themselves up against Rogue. A 2-2 score stood to keep you on the edge of your seat, but ZPS, tcorrell, and Andy did not disappoint! The Soniqs pulled together and took the final point, putting the score to 3-2 and solidifying their spot in the first regional event of the fall season.

With the victory against Rogue the Soniqs Qualify for the Regional Event 1. Be sure to tune in on Friday, October 15th for their next game!
